Fashion Designer -Fashion design is the art of the application of design and aesthetics or natural beauty to clothing and accessories. Fashion design is influenced by cultural and social latitudes, and has varied over time and place. Fashion designers work in a number of ways in designing clothing and accessories. Some work alone or as part of a team. They attempt to satisfy consumer desire for aesthetically designed clothing; and, because of the time required to bring a garment onto the market, must at times anticipate changing consumer tastes.

Fashion Illustration -Fashion Illustration is the communication of fashion that originates with illustration, drawing and painting. It is usually commissioned for reproduction in fashion magazines as one part of an editorial feature or for the purpose of advertising and promoting fashion makers, fashion boutiques and department stores.

Fabric technologist -A clothing/textile technologist works on the design, development and production of fibers, yarns and textiles. They carry out a range of technical, investigative and quality control work to ensure the end product performs to specification. Technologists also improve production efficiency and quality, and liaise with those involved in the production process. They are expected to keep up to date with technical innovations.

Boutique owner -As a boutique owner, you choose the products and you set the prices, and then open your doors to customers eager to snap up your latest selections and show them off to all their friends. Boutique owners are insiders to fashion trends long before the general public. You will have an opportunity to use your creativity every day, from creating window displays to putting together a knock-out ensemble for customers who value your expert advice.

Costume designer – A costume designer or costume mistress/master is a person whose responsibility is to design costumes for a film or stage production. He or she is considered an important part of the “production team”, working alongside the director, scenic and lighting designers as well as the sound designer. The costume designer might also collaborate with a hair/wig master or a makeup designer. Costume designers will typically seek to enhance a character’s personality, and/or to create an evolving plot of colour, changing social status or period through the visual design of garments and other means of dressing, distorting and enhancing the body – within the framework of the director’s vision.

Coordinators are capable of conceptualizing and executing a show from scratch to finish while ensuring that all the desires are met

Fashion choreographer -A fashion show’s success is not just the designer’s, show stoppers or the models effort. There are a lot of great efforts that happen behind the camera or stage too for its success. One such dedicated effort is that of fashion choreographers. Usually fashion choreographers are not seen in the limelight. But their effort to get the best out of a show is very appreciable. Because a fashion choreographer is the one who helps the models and the designer to convey his or her designs to the audience the best way. As his or her endeavor plays a vital role there are certain qualities he or she should posses to showcase the best.

 

Fashion stylist -A Fashion stylist is the job title of someone who selects the clothing for published editorial features, print or television advertising campaigns, music videos, concert performances, and any public appearances made by celebrities, models or other public figures. Stylists are often part of a larger creative team assembled by the client, collaborating with the fashion designer, photographer/director, hair stylist andmakeup artist to put together a particular look or theme for the specific project. A wardrobe stylist can also be referred to as a fashion stylist, fashion editor, or celebrity stylist. According to one view, “Stylists are the people who push each celebrity to make the best dressed list,” and assist with editorial photo shoots

Visual merchandiser -Visual merchandising is the activity and profession of developing floor plans and three-dimensional displays in order to maximize sales.[1Both goods or services can be displayed to highlight their features and benefits. The purpose of such visual merchandising is to attract, engage and motivate the customer towards making a purchase. Visual merchandising commonly occurs in retail spaces such as retail stores and trade shows.
