Coronavirus is one of those diseases that has shown a vast effect on the human race. The sensitivity of this disease was taken lightly by some of the nations, until when the World Health Organisation (WHO) declared it a pandemic.
The Indian government, being proactive, declared a nationwide lockdown that has managed to save the lives of many citizens. We request everyone to respect our Government’s decision and adhere to the safety measures suggested by them.
As an institute, it was a matter of concern for us. But, our students’ safety comes first, so we asked our students (who come from different parts of the countries) to safely leave for their hometowns. Because at this point of time, it was crystal clear that our institutions will remain shut, and students may not be able to resume classes in the classrooms in schools and colleges until further notice.
At this point of time, communication had become an issue. But then we decided to switch towards digital learning. We were on our toes to help the students continue their learning process.
We adopted a plethora of digital approaches.

Study during Lockdown with Suryadatta Group of Institutes
Knowledge Sharing Initiative
At the initial stage of the pandemic, we took a knowledge-sharing initiative where we shared a list of links for various websites and portals. These links allowed our students to learn online courses.

Few of the above links were providing free access to the UG and PG courses, while for some, students had to sign up to get access.
This helped our students a lot to use their time efficiently.

To help parents encourage their kids to study from home, we had figured out some online resources. We had provided a complete list of online resources and asked them to turn towards the internet & make the most of such resources.

Initiative to help the budding animators
To help the students of our animation department we had provided them a list of Animation Softwares, which were available to download for free. These softwares were the ones which were used by the professionals to hone their skills.

Organized online classes
With the days progressing, the effects of COVID-19 were escalating, which was a matter of concern. But this never affected the learning process of our students. We had organized Google classroom, etc. to help them complete their syllabus in this tough time. Many of our students were from outside India, and organizing such online classes has helped them in the successful completion of their academic year.

Not only this our little Suryans were also enthusiastic to learn via digital media. We had organized various online classes to engage the little Suryans in productive learning hours.
